Just as Gareth pulled Amelia out of the bell's attack range, the bell descended, perfectly trapping Remus in it. Its downward momentum continued unabated as it crashed into the ground.
Instantly, the ground shook, dust filled the air, and the space itself quivered.
The bell suddenly shrank, its diameter now only about two feet and its height less than five feet, making it seem impossible for anyone to stand inside it.
"Stumpy..." Seeing this scene, Amelia's eyes became red as she kept looking at Gareth next to her.
Gareth slightly shook his head. Even though he wanted to know what was going on, now was not the right time to speak up. After all, the entire Immortal Realm was watching, and speaking out impulsively in Remus' favor could easily provoke public anger.
