Remus roared with all his might, but it was already too late.

A deafening boom erupted from the abyss, unleashing an almost cataclysmic force charging upward. The powerful explosion surged into the cliff, erupting upward, instantly filling the entire space with a rush of freezing air. The earth trembled and the entire Violet Sanctum shook.

Earl was frozen in fear, his eyes wide with disbelief.

"Grandpa!" Remus yelled at the top of his lungs, anguish in his voice.

The old monster had detonated himself. There was simply no way out of the Shadow Gate. The only option was to sacrifice himself by initiating a detonation to create an immense force that could forcefully thrust Remus out of the Shadow Gate.
