Remus breathed heavily. He rapidly circulated the divine energy within him to dispel the cold. His eyes were fixed unblinking on what lay below.

Beneath him stretched a seemingly endless abyss. Even with his abilities, he couldn't tell what was beyond the darkness, only that the coldness was emanating from below.

"Glinda!" Remus tentatively called out toward the abyss.

Echoes continuously emanated from the abyss. It took over a dozen seconds for the reverberations to fade, but there was still no response.

Remus couldn't help but furrow his brow.
