Lincoln was stunned by what he saw. His intention was just to give this woman to Remus as an apology for what he did before. He never expected things to get so complicated.
"Let me out. If you release me, I'll teach you how!" The woman was staring intently at him.
Remus laughed out of anger. "Do you really think you have any right to negotiate? Or, perhaps the Dark Angels have thoroughly investigated me and know that I despise being threatened. Do you think I would compromise?"
The woman continued to stare intently at Remus, and after a few seconds, her eyes suddenly softened.
Through gritted teeth, she said, "I know I can't threaten you, and I don't want to. I just hope that after telling you, you can spare my life. I... I don't want to die..."
