Both halves of Kennard's body fell onto the platform with a resounding thud the moment Remus was done speaking.

Kennard wasn't that heavy, so no damage was done to the platform. However, the crowd below was significantly affected.

The people felt as if the skies were going to fall and crash down to the ground. They were overwhelmed with rage and anxiety. Then, to some, the world started to spin. Their legs turned to jelly, and they passed out and fell.

They didn't even make any noise as they fell to the ground. It was as if something had taken their voices away, and they could only watch the scene unfold with their mouths agape.
