Doug was taken aback by his words. He could feel a buzz in his mind and he was on the verge of exploding in anger. However, what Remus just said was undeniably logical.

With the Master being as in seclusion for training, if he allowed Remus to simply leave without consequences, it would bring great shame upon the Violet Sanctum's name. His own fate was equally as grim.

"You!" Doug and Earl were rendered speechless with anger.

They refrained from laying a hand on Remus. They were at a disadvantage both morally and logically. This awareness prevented them from taking any aggressive action.
