Since there was no way to make Silas surrender, Amez was trying to find a way to sway Silas' deities. Once they gave in, Silas would be left in a weak position and wouldn't pose much of a challenge.
Amez's words were spoken straightforwardly, but the more direct they were, the more they could pierce into the Dominions' hearts.
As expected, the three Dominions still wore anger on their faces, but none of them were saying anything. They appeared to be holding back and keeping their emotions in check, which was a noticeable change from earlier, when they were openly cursing Amez.
More importantly, the hundreds of deities behind them were looking at each other, and upon closer observation, Amez could see that some were beginning to waver.
After all, the two nations shared the same origins, and their deities had connections with one another. Moreover, Silas just mentioned that Amez once served under him. In other words, it would not be as mentally burdensome if they ended up serving under Amez.
