At a second glance, the white figure came from Cheryl's hand. It was a sword that gleamed with a cold light and was sharp enough to cut through iron like a hot knife on a butter.
Cheryl said coldly, "In times of great conflict, traitors must be dealt with first..."
She once again raised her head to look at Remus. "Even if you're at the Martial Divinity Stage, so what? I've stayed hidden for decades, and now, the first thing I do after emerging will be to strike down a Martial Divinity warrior!"
As she spoke, she suddenly dashed toward Remus, thrusting her sword with incredible speed. The sword moved so fast that it created numerous afterimages, transforming into a rain of swords which she hid behind.
There was no trace of emotion in Remus' eyes. As Cheryl approached, his fighting spirit erupted once more, forming a protective shield around himself.
