Jean looked around, but only darkness surrounded her. Tears rolled down her face as she thought Remus would most likely die before they could make it out of the mountain.
Just as she was about to give up, a shimmer of light caught her eye amidst the darkness. It was weak and barely recognizable.
Seeing that there was still hope, Jean gathered all of her strength and continued. She didn't even notice her feet were bleeding.
"Remus, hang on. I'll take you over there!"
Jean finally arrived at the location as the sun started to shine. It turned out to be a cave.
