Francis remained high in the sky, with an indifferent expression, showing none of his previous smugness when the Five Elements struck Remus.

Others might not understand, but he was well aware that this magical staff had been nurtured ever since the Battle of the Three Realms, and it took a thousand years for it to deliver this one blow.

It wouldn't be wrong to call it a one-time strike. Yet, this strike that could be made only once in a millennium had already been deemed a failure against Remus!

The runes continued to relentlessly bombard Remus. Wounds were appearing on his body, with his flesh and blood exposed. There were even visible transparent areas on the glass beneath him, clearly indicating that it had been pierced.
