"Everyone, stand up!" Valerie said calmly.

"Thank you, Saint Master!" everyone responded in tmison and slowly stood up.

"The ceremony is complete!" The final shout indicated the completion of all the steps.

Valerie finally spoke again, "Grandmaster Aurelius, Grandmaster Harris, it's a great honor that you could represent your respective sacred lands at my ceremony. However, why did your Saint Masters not come in person?"

The first part of what was said seemed fine, but the latter part felt accusatory.
