The space within the vortexes spun around, with the edges rotating faster and faster. In contrast, the center became calmer until finally, it was completely still, resembling a mirror. A different scene appeared in each of them.
In the mirror at the eastern vortex, the first thing one would notice was a tall, greyish-white pillar that seemed to reach the sky, covered with dense inscriptions.
Above the inscriptions was a series of pitch-black iron chains spiraling upwards like a dragon, coiling around the pillar several times and extending downward continuously.
At the bottom was a person tied up there. This person was dressed in white, with their head lowered, and their long hair, as white as snow, covered their face. They appeared to be barely clinging to life, with only a faint trace of energy remaining.
Then, a sudden flash of azure lightning appeared on the screen. This lightning was unlike anything usually seen or made by the Immortal Emperors. It seemed almost tangible, looking ancient and substantial.
