Upon hearing this voice, Remus frowned slightly. It wasn't because of what it said but because he knew from its words that this creature wasn't who he was looking for.
If the being residing in the trench was Voryn, its first reaction should have been anger. It certainly wouldn't have claimed to have never seen humans.
Remus was just about to turn around and ask the eel if there were any other forbidden areas around. But just as he did, he found the eel standing up straight before bending into an arc at the edge of the cliff. It resembled a kneeling human.
It hastily said, "Your Majesty, I swear by the sun and the moon and all that's holy, I brought him here with no ill intent! While searching under the sea, I came across him and noticed he had a very unique quality, he can emit spiritual energy. So, I convinced him to come here, all out of respect and devotion for you!"
"Hmm?" Remus was taken aback for a moment before he almost laughed out loud. "I didn't expect you to be able to use phrases like 'swearing by the sun and the moon.‘"
