Having said his piece, Remus moved to leave the Military Department.
The captain quickly took two steps forward and nervously said, "Mr. Cosby, you really can't leave the Military Department. Commander Baxton said so. Please head back inside!"
If he allowed him to leave, there would be consequences.
Seeing the captain's nervousness, Remus sensed something was wrong and asked cautiously, "Did something happen?"
The captain trembled, panic evident in his eyes. He was aware ofthe situation in Neptuna, as were many other people, and they had all been keeping it a secret from Remus. He didn't know how to answer.
