The golden light appeared around Kaiser once more. This time, it didn't spread outward, as the other battlefields no longer needed his attention. He only needed to focus on dealing with Caden.
The golden light gathered into a beam and was aimed at Caden, who knew there was no way out. Even if he left Darsia now, his family wouldn't let him go. His only chance of survival was to defeat Kaiser. He decided to stop hiding his strength, let out all of his fighting spirit, and face the beam head-on.
The golden light and his fighting spirit collided, causing the air to ripple outward in an instant.
Caden spat out more blood, his face turning paler. If he just had to stop Kaiser from leaving, he might have had some confidence, but going head-to-head with him was a different story.
He was clearly at a disadvantage. Unfortunately, there was no way out of this.
