Gemma was momentarily taken aback when she heard this, as she could discern the stark difference in Remus' tone compared to before. After a moment's hesitation, she stepped aside to let him pass.
She cautiously asked, "When are you coming back? Can I go with you?"
"No, and I don't know!" Remus pushed open the door and quickly stepped out into the courtyard. Without wasting a moment, he identified his target and shot into the sky.
Gemma didn't expect him to be so quick and planned to ask him more questions, but to her surprise, he was already leaving. She bit her lip, hesitating, and didn't dare to say anything further.
All she could do was shout after him, "I will be waiting for you here!"
