Suddenly, the mountain became quiet. All the beasts turned their attention to Remus.

Remus stared at Bucky and said, "What you're saying is like calling the kettle black. You are their lord, yet you're heartbroken because you couldn't save them! But I'm your master. If I can't save you and don't even shed a tear, wouldn't that be too heartless? Wouldn't that make me worse than a beast like you?"
