The island was illuminated by only a few dozen torches, which flickered and swayed in the sea breeze like demons dancing. In the torchlight, thousands of followers scattered across the island could be seen clearly.

In the middle of the square, a platform that was 100 feet tall had been constructed, with a large torch burning at the top. However, the light from the flame only illuminated a small area.
