Zeba and Tara had initially believed that Charlie simply didn’t trust them and wanted to take them along for that reason. However, they were surprised to find out that Charlie actually aimed to bring them along to investigate some unusual changes occurring in the sky.

In previous years at the Warriors Den, although they could obtain some cultivation resources, the cost was to fall under Morgana's control, risking their lives in the process. Only through such sacrifices could they hope to gain what was referred to as opportunities from Morgana.
