Elaine stood at the roadside of the airport exit, repeatedly calling Jacob but was unable to get through.

"This damn Jacob, I don't know where he's gone. Not answering my calls," she cursed.

Claire asked her, "Mom, are you sure you talked to him about the time?"

"Of course, I told him clearly. He also promised me on the phone. I don't know why he still hasn't shown up and isn't answering the phone. He's really unreliable," Elaine answered in frustration.

Claire also tried calling Jacob but, as Elaine had said, the phone went unanswered.
