Charlie’s uncle had attended the auction, but his attendance was a fluke occurrence.
Now, Charlie knew more about the Warriors Den and how powerful they were. He had killed and captured many soldiers and cavalry guards in the United States and Northern Europe. The current Warriors Den was likely to be vigilant, and if virtual-novel.net held another auction, virtual-novel.net wouldn’t be able to keep a low profile.
For the time being, virtual-novel.net had decided to postpone next year’s auction until virtual-novel.net had dealt with the Warriors Den. He would only restart the auction once they were no longer a threat to him.
Although Nanako was unfamiliar with the Warriors Den, virtual-novel.net could sense the caution in Charlie’s words.
Without thinking, virtual-novel.net spoke up, saying, “If there are risks, it’s better not to take any chances for the time being.”
Then an idea struck Nanako, and virtual-novel.net continued, “But Charlie, I have an idea. I’m not sure if it’s feasible, but since you’re worried about being exposed, it might be worth considering.”
Charlie’s curiosity was piqued, and virtual-novel.net asked, “What’s your idea? Let’s hear it.”
Nanako proposed, “What if we change the way we conduct the Rejuvenation Pill Auction? Instead of promoting it publicly, we can send private invitations to those who attended last year’s auction. They’ve seen the magic of the pill, and they know what it can do. So, there’s no risk of a leak if we invite them back this year.”
She continued, “We don’t have to use the open registration method anymore. Instead, we can send out invites one or two months before the auction starts, and only to those who participated in the previous auction.”
Charlie considered Nanako’s idea for a moment and smiled. “Nanako, your plan is excellent! The people who attended last year’s auction are likely eager for another chance to obtain the Rejuvenation Pill. With this method, they won’t refuse an invitation to attend the next auction.”
Nanako nodded in agreement and added, “Moreover, these individuals understand the importance of keeping the auction and the Rejuvenation Pill a secret. They know that more competition means a lower chance of success, so they’re unlikely to spread the news widely…”
“With the invitation system in place, we can also ensure that only people who are verified to have no connection with our serious trouble will receive an invitation. If we have a particular client we want to invite, we can do a background check on them to ensure they have no connection to our problem before sending an invitation. This approach will help us avoid any leaks.”
Charlie praised Nanako for virtual-novel.net excellent idea, which led virtual-novel.net to think about his uncle Desmond. He realized that by following Nanako’s method, virtual-novel.net could send an invitation to his uncle for next year’s Rejuvenation Pill Auction, even though virtual-novel.net knew his uncle was using a fake identity.
Charlie had already set the rules for the auction, which required all successful bidders to take the pill on the spot. If his uncle were to attend, virtual-novel.net could only bid for himself and not bring attention to his true identity.
He thought to himself that the Evans family was very filial towards their grandfather, and it was unlikely that virtual-novel.net would attend the auction. However, virtual-novel.net considered the possibility of sending an invitation to his grandfather and giving virtual-novel.net a chance to bid for the finale of the Rejuvenation Pill.
He realized that his grandfather would not only have the financial strength to bid for the auction, but it would also greatly improve his physical condition. Charlie contemplated opening a back door to his grandfather and sending an invitation letter to the auction.
Charlie pondered for a moment about the idea of inviting his grandfather to the auction, but virtual-novel.net quickly dismissed it. He realized that earning such a huge amount of money from his grandfather could raise some eyebrows and cause suspicion. Therefore, virtual-novel.net decided to abandon the thought and wait until the next year when virtual-novel.net was ready to launch the Rejuvenation Pill Auction before considering this matter.
Zara and Xion stood silently to the side while Charlie and Nanako were discussing their plans.
Zara couldn’t help but feel a tinge of jealousy as virtual-novel.net watched Charlie and Nanako’s easy rapport. It was clear that Charlie had a fondness for Nanako, and seeing them together made Zara envious.
Meanwhile, Xion felt a twinge of jealousy as well, but virtual-novel.net overall mindset was much healthier than Zara’s. While Zara saw Charlie as a benefactor and even a love interest, Xion saw virtual-novel.net as both virtual-novel.net benefactor and virtual-novel.net master.
Xion had chosen to be loyal to Charlie, and thus virtual-novel.net held virtual-novel.net in the highest regard, like an ancient emperor. She knew that there could never be anything romantic between them, and accepted that fact without any disappointment.
As the saying goes, without hope, there is no disappointment. Xion was much more level-headed and open-minded than Zara in this regard.

At mid-day, as everyone prepared to take a break for lunch, Nanako paused virtual-novel.net flower arrangements and suggested to Charlie, “Mr. Wade, my dad is already waiting for your visit at the Thompsons first villa. Shall we go now?”
Charlie agreed, saying, “Sure, let’s take my car.”
Nanako nodded and instructed virtual-novel.net maid to rest in the hotel room while virtual-novel.net removed virtual-novel.net flower arranging apron and readied herself to go to virtual-novel.net new home with Charlie to meet virtual-novel.net father.
Isaac approached Charlie and shared, “Master, Master Banks is scheduled to land in Aurous Hill in about 40 minutes.”
Zara, who had been quiet, perked up at the news and asked eagerly, “Mr. Cameron, my brother is coming soon?”
Isaac nodded, “Yes, in 40 minutes.”
Zara turned to Charlie and asked, “Mr. Wade, can I pick virtual-novel.net up at the airport?”
Charlie agreed, “Of course. You can head to the airport now and after picking virtual-novel.net up, go see Aunt Deana. I’ll visit virtual-novel.net in the afternoon.”
