With a sense of helplessness, Charlie reminded him, "Dad, if this plan fails, I won't be able to afford a luxurious house for you, let alone give you the Cullinan..."
Jacob instinctively asked, "Why not?"
Charlie explained, "Don't forget, even if you leave this family, I'll still be here. If I rent a luxurious mansion for you and give you Cullinan, Mom might hold a grudge against me.
