In the early morning, Charlie's flight glided smoothly into Aurous Hill. Feeling anxious, he quickly hopped into a rental car as soon as he left the airport and made his way back to the Thompson First villa.
During the ride, he pondered how he would handle Claire's inevitable questions.
After some consideration, he concluded that denying everything was the best approach. If Claire were to confront him about his intimate relationship with Tawanna over four consecutive concerts, he would find it difficult to provide a convincing answer.
At the same time, Claire was in a state of confusion. She was almost certain that the mysterious male dancer was her husband, Charlie. However, she was unsure whether she should confront him directly. After all, she didn’t have any solid proof that the dancer was indeed Charlie.
The only indirect evidence she had was that Charlie’s phone had been unreachable while the dancer performed on stage. But this alone didn’t establish any real connection.
