After Jacob and Elaine slipped into a deep coma, Mindy first opened the rear window and switched the air conditioner to external circulation. Once the air was refreshed, she retracted the partitioned TV.
Claire looked back at the two and noticed that they were sleeping soundly, their chests rising and falling in a steady rhythm as they breathed, which eased her mind completely.
Mindy glanced at her with a smile and reassured, “Ms. Wilson, there’s no need to worry; they’re both safe.”
“Okay,” Claire replied with a slight nod, then inquired, “By the way, when Charlie arrives in Australia, he should reach out to me as soon as possible. If he can’t get in touch, he will certainly worry. Should I leave him a message?”
Mindy responded, “Once you board the ship, we will take care of everything else. The Young Master will undoubtedly be anxious, but I believe that no matter how you part ways, the sorrow of separation is unavoidable. I can’t solve any of the Young Master's problems, so he must process this at his own pace.”
