After the Metropolitan Police Department gained control of the situation, the surviving members of the Bluestone Alliance finally let out a sigh of relief. After all, this was the Metropolitan Police Department, and they were bound by codes of basic ethics. They wouldn't resort to extreme measures like ramming cars or detonating explosives.
The Yakuza also felt a sense of hope. Rather than being trapped in a scene full of corpses and rivers of blood, they would prefer to be apprehended by the police and taken to jail. At least prison offered some semblance of safety.
The Inagawa clan, however, were the most dejected.
Having not witnessed Charlie's terrifying actions, they only sensed that this operation had been exceptionally unfortunate. They had just arrived and engaged in a confrontation with the Yakuza's group.
It was disappointing that they hadn't gained anything, and now their escape route had been blocked. They ended up fighting in the dim corridor, ultimately getting arrested before even laying eyes on their true enemy.
