Upon seeing Bruce being knocked down, Charlie felt a sense of boredom wash over him, as if he were tending to a digital pet he thought would mature quickly, only to realize he was just done feeding it its first meal.
Observing Bruce and a group of young peers being taken away by ambulances, he sighed and waved his hand dismissively, saying, "I informed the sheriff I would uphold the law impartially in two days, just to give him a brief window to cause trouble. I didn't expect it to turn cold so soon."
Don Albert quickly inquired, "Master Wade, is that little brat dead?"
"Not at all," Charlie shook his head. "As long as his artery wasn’t severed and he’s not sent to a hospital, he should survive. However, his right leg will surely be ruined. After he recovers, he'll only be able to use crutches."
Don Albert chuckled, "That's fine. Didn’t a big shot named Aaron rise to prominence in Hong Kong? Maybe this kid can make some noise once he heals."
