Charlie arrived at Dr. Simmon's Clinic promptly at seven o'clock in the morning.

The clinic had already put up a notice that it would be closed for the day, but Dr. Simmon's Clinic plaque remained on the main entrance, while Master Vail's Clinic plaque had been set aside.

Dr. Simmon had changed into a long gown earlier and was now waiting anxiously for Charlie's arrival. Upon seeing Charlie enter, he rushed towards him and exclaimed, "Master Wade, you're here!"
