The Lady was beside herself with excitement, and her words tumbled out in a rush. "Amazing! Absolutely amazing! Not only has your condition stopped getting worse, but it's actually improved by leaps and bounds. Your memory of yesterday is clearer than mine now, and I'm sure you'll slowly start to regain your previous memories. But even if you don't, it's not a problem at all. Your memory has improved so much that as long as we review the game with you, you'll definitely remember it!"
As she spoke, she practically dragged him towards the stairs. "Let's go downstairs and share the good news with Desmond and the rest!"
Downstairs in the restaurant, Desmond was chowing down on his meal and chatting with Jack. "So, Jack, I finished editing and syncing yesterday's video to the normal timeline. Do you think the old man will remember anything from it?"
Jack flashed a confident grin. "Oh, definitely. I'm sure he'll remember at least some of it.”
As he spoke, Jack's mind wandered to Charlie. He couldn't shake the feeling that Charlie had somehow tampered with this house.
