Hearing Gerard’s words, Angela was relieved.

Angela was momentarily speechless as she reflected on her father's words. She knew they were true, given her personality and her tendency to clash with her father. Perhaps she wasn't thinking clearly at the time.
So she responded, "Alright, I'll visit Grandpa and Grandma Cole first."
