Vivian stood on the city wall, watching that streak of light vanish at the far end of her sight. Only then did the tears finally slide down her face.
Luther and Grace stood beside her, both still looking in that direction for a long time without speaking.
Roland bowed deeply, his voice respectful and firm. "We respectfully see off Your Majesty!"
