Quinley was in her room when she heard Zordey knocking on her door, saying obsequiously, “Have you had enough rest, Ms. Tall? Daunting Tides is up ahead, and it’s a magnificent sight! Would you like to go to the deck and check it out?”
Hearing that, Quinley immediately opened the door. When Zordey saw her, he greeted her with a simpering smile.
“Please hold on a moment,” Quinley said and went to get Jared and Cloud.
She didn’t know what Daunting Tides was, so she wanted the other two to check it out together.
“Daunting Tides? What’s that?” Jared asked Zordey puzzledly.
