“Mr. Knox, has the Lord of Medicine God Sect been living in this place all along?” Jared asked Axton with his mind racing.

“Of course. He has been living in this place for the past thirty years, but he would travel elsewhere from time to time,” Axton replied.

“Thirty years?” Jared was stunned. “Are you saying that this Lord of Medicine God Sect did not grow up in this place?”

Axton shook his head. “He came here thirty years ago. Our previous Lord went missing at that time, so we did not have someone to lead us. After the Lord’s arrival, he impressed everyone with his various skills, especially the vitality pills he crafted. Our lifespan can be extended by three to five years after consuming one vitality pill. However, because of the rarity of the ingredient to produce this vitality pill, the Lord would only provide us with the pill once in a while. That’s why we recommended him to become the new Lord of Medicine God Sect.”
