“Did I kill the telepathic beasts?” Hadad stared at the scattered carcasses of the telepathic beasts, completely bewildered.
“I didn’t kill these telepathic beasts. I’ve been cultivating in the cave all this time, never once leaving. How could I have possibly killed these beasts? Besides, if I were to kill so many telepathic beasts, wouldn’t it attract the attention of the Spirit Beast Valley? Where would I find the peace to cultivate then?”
Jared observed Hadad’s expression.
Upon learning that he had been cultivating, he released a strand of aura into the arcane array that connected to the Spirit Beast Valley. Due to the faint aura, no one had noticed it. However, the telepathic beasts, highly sensitive to such auras, had been drawn to the Phantom Valley.
The overwhelming lethal intent in the Phantom Valley had proven too much for the telepathic beasts to bear, causing them to die one after another.
