“Did they run off because more powerful demon beasts are coming?” the elderly villager from Rock Village wondered out loud.
“I think so. Why else would they be in such haste to flee?” another villager agreed.
“There aren't any powerful demon beasts coming. Jared must have been the one who scared them off!” Percy loudly declared.
Even though the boy had no idea how Jared had managed to chase away the Demon Wolves, to him, Jared seemed omnipotent, possessing extraordinary powers beyond comprehension.
