The middle-aged man leaped up to hover in mid-air before casting his gaze into the distance.
Soon, he discovered a vast expanse of white mist a stone’s throw away. It remained dense and only enveloped a few radii.
Seeing that, he quickly flew over. While doing so, he released a sliver of spiritual sense. He found no one around, but when his spiritual sense entered the white mist, it suddenly disappeared without any response.
“Could this be an arcane array someone set up that even spiritual sense can’t penetrate it?” His brows furrowed.
He then took two black balls out of his pocket and threw them on the ground. They exploded, and two starving wolves charged out of the black mist.
