Seeing the expression on Jared's face, Bernard quietly asked, "Mr. Chance, what's wrong? Are you worried about Twilight Imperial City causing you trouble?"
After regaining his composure, Jared said, "Oh, it's nothing... I'm not afraid of Twilight Imperial City. In fact, I'm even planning to visit it!"
"Mr. Chance, you must understand that Twilight Imperial City isn't a place one can just casually visit. Besides, you injured the eldest prince of Twilight imperial City. If you return there, you're certain to face retaliation," Orion stated.
"No worries, it might all just be a misunderstanding. A couple of casual responses from me should clear things up," Jared answered with a slight smile.
Even though he had injured Dorian, his actions were not deserving of death. There was no way they would kill him once he arrived at Twilight Imperial City. At most, he'd get a scolding, or perhaps get yelled at by Catalina.
