"You've been to the prison? What were you doing there?" Donovan knew that Jared was an outsider, unconnected to Beast City, and he couldn't understand why he would go to that prison.
"My friend's brother is in that prison, so I went to visit him," Jared explained.
"That prison..." Donovan had just begun to speak when he suddenly stopped.
He glanced around before saying, "This isn't the place for a chat. Let's head to a restaurant. We can talk over a meal..."
Jared nodded and said, "All right!"
