After the group got a night's rest in the forest, Godrick managed to recover most of his strength. Hence, Jared planned to continue his escape with Flaxseed and Godrick at the first break of dawn.

Just as they were about to leave, the arcane arrays set up by Flaxseed were suddenly triggered. The continuous firing of infernos was quickly followed by screams of men.

“Jared, someone's here. We have to move,” Flaxseed suggested frantically, to which Jared nodded in acknowledgment.

Just as they were about to leave with Godrick, they heard someone swearing. “Who the f*ck has set up arcane arrays in the middle of the forest?!”

The voice caused Jared to stop in his tracks and sped toward the direction of the arcane array. Flaxseed and Godrick, too, followed behind him.
