Many cheered for Jared’s victory when they saw him there with the Luminous Pearl. They were in Chanaea’s territory, after all, so it’d be incredibly embarrassing if Jetroina’s team had won.
The crowd gathered around Jared and the others as they made their way home. That was when it happened. Jetroina’s representative showed up and barred Jared’s path.
“Hold on! Where is the participant of my country? Where is Mr. Ichiro Watanabe?” demanded the representative loudly.
The representative had a bad feeling, but at that moment, he was still clinging to a glimmer of hope.
