Upon arrival at Twilight Imperial City, Jared followed Fraser into the imperial palace's grand hall, while the others were sent elsewhere at Fraser's arrangement. After all, Fraser had brought Jared to plead for forgiveness before his father. If Orion and the others came along, things might escalate into a full-blown conflict.

"Emperor Lantz, you must stay calm. A lesson is fine, but don't go too far. We don't want to kill him," Infinides advised Corrado.

"Don't worry, Abbot Infinides, I'll spare his life. But I'll make sure he learns his lesson. He'll lie in bed for the next ten years!" Corrado huffed angrily.

"As long as you spare his life, that's fine."

With that, Infinides turned and left, knowing that his presence would only make things more awkward.
