Jared and the others found a cave that was just large enough to fit them, so they spent the night inside the cave. He then told Matthew to focus on his cultivation so he could heal faster, but Matthew was unable to get into a cultivation state.
“It’s all my fault… The disciples were wounded and killed because of me… As a sect leader, I can’t possibly bring myself to face our ancestors anymore!” Matthew cried out with a sad look on his face.
All of the Luminous Sect disciples were killed, and many of them had chosen to self-destruct in order to save Matthew.
