“What’s with this armor on my body, Jared?” Renee looked at the well-fitting armor with puzzlement because she remembered never having worn such a thing before.
Jared hesitated for a moment because he did not know how to explain to Renee. Even if he told the truth, she would not believe it.
Just when Jared was hesitating on how to explain, the white armor started to shine, and a wince of pain appeared on Renee’s face.
“I’m in pain, Jared…” Renee screamed suddenly.
“Renee…” Startled, Jared knew at once that the armor was the cause.
