Jared shook his head helplessly. “Maybe you should.”
“You haven’t answered me, Jared,” Josephine pressed on haughtily. “Where are you planning on going?”
“There is an auction for antiques in Jadeborough. Mr. Grange has kindly extended an invitation to me.”
