Jared lifted a hand and cut off Luther's excited bragging and Grace's praise. His eyes settled on Vivian, and his voice turned more serious. "Alright, enough of that. The Teleportation Array I told you to arrange how is it? Is everything ready? We need to use it as soon as possible and head to the Luminous Sanctuary."
Only then did Vivian fully steady herself. She forced down what had been churning inside her, and her face tightened.
She bit her lip. A troubled look crossed her face as she said in a low voice, "I've already contacted the wardens of the Teleportation Array in Cloudhaven City, and they agreed to let us use it. But..."
She stopped there. Her head lowered, and the words stalled with a weight she couldn't hide.
Jared's brow drew together slightly. "But what? Is there some problem?"
