Jared took the rejuvenating pill and planned to feed it to Lyanna. However, he was stopped by the elders just when he was about to leave.

“Who are you? How do you know the Astral Attraction technique? Do you also practice the d*mned Demonic Cultivation?” Timothy demanded.

Axton was eager to find out the truth as well, so he asked, “Jared, how did you come to know of Astral Attraction? You certainly do not seem like you’re practicing Demonic Cultivation.”

Jared smiled in resignation at the sight of the alarmed looks on their faces. “It was not Astral Attraction. I was only able to absorb martial energy because I have reached a certain level in my practice. Not only am I able to subdue martial energy, but also lethal intent, negative energy, and toxic energy. I could absorb and refine them to my advantage. That was the reason that I could leave unscathed even after charging into the lethal intent tornado.”
