Melanie woke up in the middle of the night to the faint light coming out of Alejandro’s study.

She made him a pot of tea and asked, “Not going to sleep?”

Alejandro shook his head. “Couldn’t. As long as Seaton’s life doesn’t end with a horrible death, I won’t be able to rest.”

“Are you mad... that Seaton tried to murder Mark?” Melanie inquired.

“What? Is it even possible that I might give a sh*t about that?” Alejandro snapped. “No, of course not, it’s because he sabotaged my business and murdered so many of my people! Excluding those covered by insurance, I have to fish money out of my own pockets to comfort the families of those who died! Do you know how great Seaton’s sh*tty little plot cost me? No, you don’t because you’re just a woman who knows nothing about this. Go back to sleep.”
