Robin shrank. “I can’t muster up the courage to do it. I’ve never seen him so angry before, and I’m really afraid of messing it up again. I know that I’m silly and don’t know what words to say at what time. Worse, I’ll probably make him even angrier if I try to talk to him again, since I don’t know how to console him. I should probably just let him calm down by himself first.”

This time, Robin did not argue back. It was true that she still liked Sylvain, and her heart was in a mess after how he had reacted towards her. Robin walked out of the cafe and dialed Sylvain’s number, but the phone call got cut off after the dial tone rang twice. It turned off after she called again a second time. She was about to return to her usual self and retreat but very quickly dropped the idea and steeled herself again. She hated how she wasn’t able to do anything correctly, including her people skills. She decided to wait for Sylvain at his home since he would most definitely return home at some point. All she wanted to do was apologize to him.
