When Melanie was done eating, Alejandro left her house and sighed in relief the moment he got onto his car.

Melanie noticed this and asked him, “Do you feel relieved now? I asked you not to come, yet you Chose to ignore me. I dislike dealing with my parents as well."

Alejandro remained silent. He had woken up too early and was still sleepy, so he shut his eyes and rested.

Melanie was unsure of herself. Had Alejandro found out that she was secretly talking to Tiffany? He probably... didn’t know about it, did he? Otherwise, he would be bursting out in anger instead of being so calm. She figured she might as well come clean before he found out himself.

After pawing for a moment, she said, “I’ve been contacting Tiffany.”
