Robin’s eyes glistened even more when she looked at Arianne now. Receiving acknowledgement was a great feeling. She had been raised under her parents’ halo from a young age. She had followed her parents’ wishes, from her basic needs during her childhood to her college application when she grew older. No one cared about her opinions. She later graduated. Although her parents stopped being so strict on her and allowed her to do whatever she wanted, she still felt contained in a glass box. She even believed that she didn’t have any opinions and didn’t know how to say “no”. She lacked confidence.

It was Arianne who made her feel like she was special and unique. She gave her enough confidence.
