They entered the office and began another day of work.
Tiffany slapped her face lightly when she sat down. “Wake up!”
Aye patted her chest, still shocked. “I only wanted to say hi when I saw you and Mr. West. I completely forgot he’s our boss. We were late in front of our boss. That gave me quite a fright...”
Tiffany looked completely nonchalant. She was not at fault for being late after all. “Stop patting your chest. It’s flat enough as it is. You’ll have nothing left if you keep doing that. By the way, I haven’t had breakfast, have you?”
Aye stroked her tummy and bitterly replied, “I haven’t either. Shall we order takeout? We can eat at the entrance later. We’ll get scolded if we eat here.”
